"YENI ERBAA" Social Habitat

Our proposal for design of the social facility building which included a hotel, adjacent to Erbaa’s well known pinetum is strongly based on keeping that pinetum unobstructed as much as possible. So planting more pine trees is offered for the areas which trees were cut down before. Because of collective memory the pinetum entrances is kept and according to the topography and plants densities new designed paths for pedestrians is proposed. The proposal for the building is a modest fragmented one which maximize the experiment of open spaces and can adopt its volumes to different levels of topography. This enables the building to interact with the pinetum at a very high level by means of open courtyards and footpaths.
