The installation “Attracted Grid” mimics the architectural properties of METU Faculty of Architecture as it originates from a square grid. The extensions that come out from the grid has been designed in order to represent the best angle in which the visibility becomes dominant. The openings on the extensions are designed accordingly with the length of the extension in which, the longer the extension the bigger the opening is. This provides a better illumination coming from the roof of Gobek Taşı area, making the installation more attractive for the visitors.

The main aim of the installation is to blend with the already existing visual qualifications of METU Faculty of Architecture as it creates a motion especially in the y-axis. As a result, it doesn’t race with historically significant architecture of Behruz Cinici, yet represents adaptiveness in contemporary architectural installations.
